A sheep suspension bridge over the Big Wood River. I waited a couple hours in the rain for this shot because I'd missed the crossing many times and had hopes of catching it at least once! You can see ewes and lambs in this image... Most of the lambs are "smutty faced" as a result of cross-breeding the white ewes with black Suffolk rams. The sheep are trailing north to summer mountain pastures.
