Twenty-one-year-old "Cody" from Washington State plays one of his own songs on his fretless Fender bass on April 4, 2006. Cody is a long-time musician whose abilities include harp, classical guitar, drums and bass. He responded to a classified ad searching for people to jam with. "I have at least 7 CDs of my own stuff on them," he said. Cody enjoys jam sessions with friends and says that he is "always looking for someone new to play with."

When one looks through the photos that have been submitted to New West over time, either directly or through our robust Flickr pool of enormously talented contributors, it is clear that the landscape inspires creative genius.
